Will my ornaments get damaged due to testing?
NO, your ornaments will not get damaged through computer XRF test. In some situation where the need for melt test arises, in such case with your authorization, ornaments will be melted and tested.
How will i be paid ?
All payments will be based on our company guidelines either by CASH* / NEFT / IMPS / RTGS. (*Subject to statutory guidelines)
What are the documents required for selling gold ornaments?
You must produce one photo ID and one address proof document which could be a Aadhar card, driver’s license, passport, ration card, election ID, telephone bill, mobile bill, property sale deed, etc.
I am not a resident of the state where i am selling. so, can i sell my ornaments and what documentation is required?
YES, you can sell, by providing one Photo ID, one local address proof and one native address proof.
Once sold can i buy back my ornaments later?
NO, we will not be able to re-sell the ornaments, as we will be immediately melting the ornaments for purification.
Why is it that some gold buyers charge lower service charge compared to ruhi gold?

Can i sell gold belonging to my relatives, neighbours or friends?
NO, you cannot sell gold that does not belong to you. You can only sell gold with belongs to you, your spouse, or your parents but only with their consent.
I am 18 to 21 years old can i sell my jewellery?
Anyone who is aged between 18 to 21 years of age can sell their gold, but only with the consent from parents or legal guardian. For the transaction to process we will require a written letter from parents or legal guardian along with their photo ID and address proof. We have strict policy with respect to purchase of any kind of gold from Minors. We do not buy gold from anyone aged below 18 years.
Can i sell broken or tampered jewellery? also, is there any restriction on quantity salable?
YES, you can sell broken or tampered jewellery.
NO, there is no restriction on the salable quantity. No quantity is too small or big for us.
Can i get the payment through neft oe rtgs?
YES, we can transfer payment below two lakhs through NEFT and payments above two lakhs through RTGS, foe which we would require name as per bank records, Account Number and type, IFSE code, bank name and branch details.
Note: your cheque book will contain all this information.
Why do you collect my id and address proof?
Our company policy mandates us to perform KYC process for all our customers. Firstly, every transaction involves huge amounts, and also because most customers wouldn’t preserve invoices/bill copies, so it gets difficult for us to know if the ornaments or bullion is a legitimate possession or otherwise.
What if the value of gold turns out to be lower than the relesed value?
YES, there are chances of your gold value being lower than the released value. In order to avoid such situation we recommend you to make sure to provide us accurate information with regards to the weight, purity, stones and beads present, wax content of you pledged gold prior to release of the gold. These facts are crucial inputs to determine the value of your gold.
During situations where the value of your gold turns out to be lower than the released value, you (customer) must pay the differential amount + nominal fee.
What are the grounds for rejection of my transaction?
Incorrect KYC submitted, under age, improper explanation related to ownership, selling on behalf of others are a few grounds your transaction can be rejected
